Part 5: Regaine for Men Review: Pros and Cons

Pros:

  • One thing that is great is the fact that it does dry off very quickly after use and usually takes me around 10 minutes as my hair is quite short
  • Another good feature is the fact that it is unscented as the last thing I would want is walking around smelling like perfume or a flower bed.
  • Unlike many cosmetic shampoos you see on sale, this has actually gone through clinical trials and achieved very good results with 9 out of 10 men seen improved hair or it stopped further hair loss. There is no point growing new hair until you stop the process of thinning and hair miniaturization – view my list here that stops hair loss once and for all
  • Instead of having to buy it monthly, you can get the set of 3 in the one package delivered direct to your home hassle free and the prices from Amazon tend to be much better than the local chemist.
  • Unlike many brands that come today and go tomorrow, Regaine is actually a brand that has received worldwide recognition and has lasted the test of time so overall, they are a brand that you can trust.
  • Deliveries from Amazon are in a generic box so you can get it delivered discreetly if that is important to you

Cons:

  • After application, your hair can appear greasy or messy and not as clean as you would like which can be annoying when appearances are important
  • Applying twice per day is not always going to be possible – do you intend to carry a bottle around with you in your pocket at all times??? Personally, I just apply it before you go to bed and leave the bottle in the bathroom for when I need it
  • Foam alone will not solve your hair loss problems, you need to spend more and invest in a set of daily products if you are serious about stopping your hair loss once and for all – view my recommended list here prescribed by my own medical doctor.
  • Little to no improvements are seen on men where they are already bald for a long length of time – it really only rescues and stimulates existing thinning hair to become stronger and appear fuller
  • Doesn’t contain DHT blockers which finasteride does – again you will need to be using Regaine as part of a programme – learn more here to finally put an end to you hair loss problems

Part 6: Conclusion & Feedback Submission

Conclusion:

Do I recommend Regaine for Men? Yes, certainly I do but I would not be relying on foams alone to sort out my hair loss problems and certainly don’t expect it to give you back a full head of hair again. If you want to stop your hair falling out, you need to be using Regaine as part of a hair restoration programme – please check out my own doctors prescribed list here which works for me and there is no reason why it can’t work for you either. Some people complain about the daily usage but for me, it becomes part of your daily routine like washing your teeth or having a shower.

The programme I use takes 5 to 10 minutes per day and its usually the application of the foam at night before I go to bed and then taking the split tablet and the shampoo first thing in the morning while I shave.

  1. Great review here, Jack. Thinning hair seems to run in my husband’s family. He’s got cousins who aren’t even thirty and are already shaving their hair because of excessive thinning.Thankfully, it doesn’t look like he’s going through it just now but he’s young yet so who knows. If that happens, then we might have something to slow it down. Or should he start using this as a preventative? Thanks for sharing this information.

    • As soon as he sees any form of thinning hair, then it should be started in conjunction with the other recommended products throughout the various menus, Regards, Jack

  2. Its very thoughtful of you to share this review about Regaine for Men, it’s very useful and informative. Sometimes, when topics like hair loss is being mentioned, most people think it’s for ladies alone, this concerns men too that’s why this product will be well embraced, even though it has its own cons, I think consulting a medical practitioner before use will be a great idea. Thanks for the update.

  3. I’m actually impressed with this regaine for men and I feel that it works better when used with several under products under a multiple product programme instead of relying on it on its own. Hair loss has been a great problem for me since late into my youth years and though I have tried multiple hair loss restoration products but none worked. Using Regaine now has become part of my daily routine – generally once to 2 times each day.

  4. This product’s features are really unique and special, not all hair loss control products can do what it does. Regaine has its own good and bad but I think the good it can do surpasses it’s short comings. I love the fact that it dries of easily, well the only issue I have is that I love to have my hair products scented, likewise some other people, it’ll be nice if they can make some with scents, this will make it easy for people to choose which one they want.

  5. Yes REGAINE,it’s one of the best out there I have used it for quite some time and it has really worked for me. My bro was also having this hair thinning issue for some time and we were asked to get this and it really helped him out also but we used specific tablets and shampoos also with the foam. Later on after 3 months, I  began to see improvements with both myself and my bro  – only some slight defects on me but cleared up after a few days with no major issues so we would certainly give it a positive review

  6. Hello there, thanks for putting out his review article as it would really be of great benefit to the public as it has been of great help to me. It was a few months ago that I stumbled upon REGAINE though a recommendation from a friend although I was sceptical about it because I have used some other products but they didn’t work but I finally tried it and I have not had a reason to regret. But I believe it works best with formulated shampoos and tablets that I take also so all combined, they have finally put a stop to my hair loss, what I have now looks to be staying!

  7. I love this interesting review, it’s true that hair related issues are most sorted out for when it comes to care of the body. It’s enviable that this product is mainly for men, please I need to know if Regaine Is made just for men because it has some compositions and ingredients that can’t be used for women’s hair or what ? Thanks In anticipation.

    • This product is formulated for men only – there are options available for women also as they have been formulated specifically for women. Regards, Jack
